The first stage of All-Ukrainian Academic Olympiad of Sumy National Agrarian University is coming to an end. Dozens of future applicants have already submitted their competitive works.
However, it was decided to extend the deadline for holding the correspondence stage on numerous requests from teachers and parents of prospective students. Butnowadays the Academic Commissionshave already begun to evaluate the knowledge of potential entrants. Very soon, on the 15th of April, the results of the firstcorrespondence stage of the Olympiad will be summed up. And after that, the winners, that are eleven-form pupils who will score more than 75 points, will be invited to participate in the second round of the Olympiad.
This decisive stage of the competition will take place directly at the Agrarian University. Everyone who will overcome the competition barrier will receive personal invitations to the 2nd round of the Olympiad.
The winners of the final stage of the Olympiad will be able to add to the certificate of the external independent evaluation from one of the subjects up to 20 points according to the results of the Olympiad. Of course, it will improve their position in the competitive rankings on entry the state order place.
This year, we diversified the competition directions to the great extent and expanded the scope of subjects to nine positions. However, there is still a small percentage of participants in the Olympiadin chemistry and physics. This year, the innovation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine was thatit was the Ministry who determined the certificates necessary for the entry, but not thehigher educational establishments. Therefore, physics has been chosen as the third subject in engineering specialties, and in natural sciences it is chemistry. It will be a real challenge for entrants. Therefore, we hope that future students will still have time to take advantage of the opportunity to add Olympiad points to the results of the external independent evaluation.
SNAU teachers sincerely wish success to each participant and hope to see you among our students.
