On June 23, 2017, Sumy NAU hosted the II stage of the first All-Ukrainian contest of student innovative projects “Agrarian Youth and Innovations” organized together with the State Institution “Scientific and Methodological Center for Information and Analytical Support of the Activities of Higher Educational Institutions” Agro-Education” of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine.
Students introduced their educational institutions with dignity, presented projects, and answered some thorny questions. The urgency of the problems and the suggested ways of their solution were appealing to the jury consisting of the head of the joint student council of agrarian universities of Ukraine Dar’ia Kryvulia, the head of the research unit of Sumy NAU Yurii Danko, the coordinator of projects of the NGO “Ukrainian Educational Club” Oleksii Nazarenko, a regional project coordinator of UNDP “Community Based Approach to Local Development”.
According to the results, the student of Sumy National Agrarian University Sofiia Svysenko and the student of Odessa State Agrarian University Faina Karag'iaur took the first place. All the participants were awarded with diplomas and valuable gifts.
