On June 27, 2017, the delegation of the company Nestle visited Sumy National Agrarian University. This collaboration is currently being carried out within the framework of the Hospodar + project and is aimed at introducing a program for the evaluation of agricultural production RISE.
The company carries out appropriate training for the university lecturers. In particular, this April, several instructors underwent internship at Bern University of Applied Sciences, and in May a representative of the University of Bern, Mr. Ferezinei Sereke held a series of workshops for the project participants directly at the university. And today, 5 SNAU lecturers have become consultants on the application of this program and will continue to help farmers identify opportunities for improvement and transition to a more sustainable way of doing business, evaluate Ukrainian farms and give recommendations to their owners to reform their activities.
During the meeting, SNAU rector Volodymyr Ladyka, together with the Hospodar + project manager Taisiia Klochko and RISE Project Coordinator Oleksandr Berezhnyi discussed the state and prospects of further implementation of these projects. According to the rector, this cooperation is very important for the university. “And the reason is not only that we jointly apply the project on sustainable development of agriculture. The fact is that this is an international corporation of world-class, which employs our graduates. And the choice of SNAU as a partner is the level of training of our specialists ", - Volodymyr Ivanovych said.
