The current week in Sumy National Agrarian University is not just a calendar period.This is a week of the Faculty of Food Technologies, dedicated to the Day of Food Industry Worker. It is celebrated in Ukraine on the third Sunday of October.
On October 10, the faculty hosted guests from JSC “Globynsky Meat Processing Plant” and JSC “Globynsky Butter Fodder Plant”. Guests did not come to the SNAU empty-handed. They arranged a tasting exhibition of their products and invited students, teachers and all interested persons.
On October 11, first-year students learned to make meat bread of two types: according to traditional and innovative recipes.
During the class, students executed a technological instruction for manufacturingproducts, got acquainted with the technological processes, and studied certain technological nuances of work with different kinds of meat and other raw ingredients. Of course, there was a degustation in the end of the event.
