On November 15, 2017, on the eve of the Day of Agricultural Workers, a round table discussion on “Development of agrarian business is a key to success of Sumy region”was held at Sumy National Agrarian University.
Before the discussion, the presentation of master's courses “Regional Management” and “Precision Farming”was held.
The Head of Sumy Regional State Administration MykolaKlochkocongratulated agrarians on their holidayand admitted their great contribution to food security of the region and the state as a whole.
Speaking about the cooperation of the university with agribusiness, the rector of SNAU VolodymyrLadyka emphasized that the university is open to cooperation not only with agroholdings but also with local agricultural companies, and such cooperation becomes mutually beneficial for both parties, because business as a result receives an efficient worker, and the university is able to train students using modern equipment, available at the leading enterprises.
The key issue for the round table discussion was cooperation with India and China.These countries become the priority partners of Ukraine in foreign trade. These countries are interested in purchasing Ukrainian grain, oilseeds and their processing products.
