At the expanded session of the Collegium of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine that took place at the National Technical University of Ukraine “Kyiv Polytechnic Institute named after Ihor Sikorsky” they discussed the priority directions of changes in higher education.
The session was attended bythe Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Lilia Grynevych, other representatives of the Ministry of Education and Science, Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine for Humanitarian Issues VyacheslavKyrylenko, First Deputy Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Committee on Science and Education OleksandrSpivakovsky, Chairman and members of the National groups of experts on the reform of higher education Erasmus +, rectors of the Ukrainian universities.
The representatives of Sumy National Agrarian University, namely, Rector of the university,VolodymyrLadyka and the head of the research department YuriyDanko, also joined the work of the collegium. The rector of SNAU spoke on the prospects of the development of dual education in Ukraine, since Sumy National Agrarian University has had some experience in this problem and is ready to share it with everybody interested in it. According to VolodymyrIvanovych, Sumy NAU is co-operating on the introduction of dual education together with the representatives of large agrarian business: the 5 largest agricultural holdings in Ukraine are partners of SNAU. At the end of the meeting they summarized the results of the work.
