May 9-11, 2018, the XIII International Conference - Electromachining (EM'18) on electrophysical and chemical processing of materialsunder the auspices of Polish Academy of Sciences (PAS), was heldin Bydgoszcz, Poland.
The conference was held under the patronage of the Committee on Machine-Building and Technology of the Polish Republic. The organizer of the conference was the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering of the University of Technology and Natural Sciences (UTNS), Bydgoszcz.
Engineering -Technology Department of Sumy NAU was represented by Professor TarelnykV.V.,PhD Konoplyantschenko E.V. and PhD Tarelnyk N.V. Two scientific reports were presented at the conference as a result from the cooperation of scientists from three universities - Sumy National Agrarian University, Sumy State University, and Polytechnic of Sventokrzhysh in Kielce.
Theses of the reports were included in the collection of conference materials, and full-text articles on the reports were submitted to the scientific journal AIP Conference Proceedings (USA) published by the American Institute of Physics, which is included in the sciencedatabases of Web of Science and Scopus.
It was planned to learn the material base of the Institute of Production Technologies of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering UTNS. The conference participants demonstrated the design process and technological capabilities of the electrodes manufacturing equipment for electromechanical processing.
According to the results of the previous experiments,three joint scientific articles were published in the journals that are part of SCOPUS databases:

In addition, the result of cooperation was a series of patents, including foreign ones, whose authors include Polish colleagues.
The program of stay was completed in full, and the ways of further cooperation are outlined.
