The call for self-government development projects applications is announced within the framework of the joint Czech-Ukrainian project “Enhancement Of Capacity Building Process In Quality Of Education And Research At SNAU And SSU”. The call for self-government development projects applications is announced within the framework of the joint Czech-Ukrainian project “Enhancement of Capacity Building Process in Quality of Education and Research at SNAU and SSU”. The project is supported by the Czech Development Agency for the period of 2017-2018 and is implemented by the Czech University of Life Sciences (Prague). Budget of the project is: 997 000 CZK (37 000 EUR). The main objective of the project deals with increasing of quality of education according to the European standards in setting up of quality management with the emphasis on pilot application of selected methodological tools, in improving research and science capacities and in improving of functionality of students’ self-governance at two selected universities in Sumy. The objective will be achieved by sharing of know-how and good practice from Czech higher education through direct participation of Czech university teachers.
The total budget of the call is approximately 10000UAH. The Call is designed for the students’ self-government and students community representatives concerned on development opportunities of the students community. The main coordinator of the project must be the representative of the students’ self-government. Other members of the project team can be the students of SSU and SNAU. Working language is English. Submission deadline is: August 31, the project implementation deadline is: November, 12, 2018.
The general topic is focused mainly on students’ impact onto the SSU/SNAU students’ community development (skills and competences of students, development environment). The projects should motivate the beneficiaries to take an active stand in the life of the university and their personal lives, requiring them to use their creativity and initiative.
The main project activities, expected to be implemented within the call, should be linked with students’ activities in the field of, for example: Implementing healthy food practices; „Be Active“ initiatives; Responding to drugs and alcohol; Motivation to study; Encouragement of the students in the practical realization of human rights and freedoms; Systematic leisure time organization; Social projects; Professional career development support; Volunteer movement promotion; etc.
The activities forms may be any of the following list and above: student days; sporting events; training; intellectual games; round table; etc.
