A unique laboratory for the processing of meat products has been openedat Sumy NAU
On September 15, at Sumy National Agrarian University, with the support of the Hlobyno group of companies, a unique training laboratory for the processing of meat products was opened.
The University rector VolodymyrLadyka said: "The laboratory is a model of a mini-shop for the manufacture of sausage products, which is equipped with modern equipment. Such a shop can produce small volumes of products and can be built on the basis of a farm, a united territorial community”.
The Deputy Minister of Agrarian Policy and Food of Ukraine Victor Sheremeta took part in the opening of the laboratory and expressed the hope that soon such shops would appear on the territory of Sumy region. Therefore, SNAU faces the task to prepare qualified specialists for these workshops and provide scientific support for the development of meat and sausage recipes. That is why this laboratory will conduct a microstructural analysis - studying the components of sausages and determining the percentage composition of additional substances.
