At the beginning of November, Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work and International Activities, Mykola Sokolov, as a member of the Sumy City Council delegation, took part in the signing of the Agreement concerning the establishment of cooperation between the twin cities - Sumy and the city of Zhuji, China. This Agreement provides the cooperation in the field of education and science.
The Agreement on training the specialists, which provides the earning of Bachelor and Masters’ Degrees and postgraduate students training, was signed. The training will start the following academic year according to coordinated curricula.
The vice-rector had an opportunity to meet Chinese college students and discuss the organization of the educational process of foreign students at the university, their living conditions and opportunities for mastering English as well as studying of the Russian or Ukrainian languages. The Chinese students were interested in studying at the Faculty of Food Technology, Agrarian Technologies and Nature Management and Civil Engineering.
During the meeting the students from the College of Jiangsu who took part in the academic exchange this summer, recalled their lectures, master classes, excursions and events that they attended at Sumy NAU and in Sumy city. Most of them would like to study at our university in the future.
